What is the role of the Registered Nurse at Lifeview?
At Lifeview, Registered Nurses are titled ‘Resident Wellness Managers’ (RWM’s). Their role is to provide each resident with an holistic assessment and personalised care plan tailored to their individual health and personal care needs.
RWM’s focus on delivering high quality, co-ordinated clinical care that includes the delegation and supervision of Enrolled Nurses, (Resident Wellness Coordinators or RWC’s) and Personal Carers, (Housemates or HM’s) to collaborate with the resident, their decision makers (if applicable) and other medical and health professionals.
Reporting to the Residential Manager, graduates work closely with a team to build collaborative relationships, prioritise tasks, refine clinical ability and verbal and written communication skills for accurate documentation.
Lifeview has a focus on resident wellness as opposed to sickness. We are not a hospital and work with and alongside each resident to enable and promote wellness, independence and choice.
