Lifeview is once again celebrating the Victorian Seniors Festival by putting on free and / or sponsored events for local seniors in the communities in, which we operate.

For the third year in a row we will invite local seniors to enjoy specially organised activities, as a simple way of giving back, and bringing enjoyment to senior Victorians.

For seniors in the Cranbourne area Lifeview has organised a private tour of the Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale on Wednesday 4 October.  Guests will experience a private koala encounter, barn owl experience and dingo adventure, whilst also enjoying morning tea.

Seniors in the Wheelers Hill area are invited to come and enjoy a professional art class with a private tutor on Friday 13 October.  All materials are included and participants can take their artwork home.  The class will be held at Art Encounters in Elsternwick and morning tea is also provided.   

As we have done for the past two years, Lifeview will also sponsor the Kingston Council’s Seniors High Tea by the Sea, to be held at Doyles in Mordialloc on Wednesday 18 October.  By sponsoring this event local seniors can attend at a reduced price and enjoy an afternoon of good food, bubbles and company.

Lifeview will end its month of external and internal seniors activities with its award winning Positive Ageing Celebration on October 27.  This year’s event, Lifeview Sets Sail, sees residents from all Lifeview homes come together to celebrate their abilities in a cruise ship themed extravaganza.
